Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will be largely procurement-based with some operational support. This will include:
* Coordinate meetings with potential suppliers and evaluation panels.
* Organise meetings and events, such as vendor briefings.
* Use your exceptional communication skills to contribute to discussions and negotiations with suppliers while supporting internal stakeholders
* Draft procurement documentation and reports to support the Program Director.
* Maintain procurement records and liaise with external advisors.
* Set up administrative files and templates to support negotiations and contract management.
* Analyse data across multiple systems to support client needs.
* Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance procurement processes.
* Support system testing and appraisals to ensure effective internal controls.
* Undertake administrative tasks to maintain operational efficiency.
Ideal Experience:
* Prior experience in government procurement, with exposure to platforms such as VendorPanel (formerly QTenders), will provide a significant competitive advantage.
* Exposure to ICT projects will be advantageous, but is not mandatory.
* Strong organisational and communication skills to support internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and contractors effectively.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and coordinating logistics.
