Business Contribution
To deliver high-quality technical training and competency assessment services to Hydratight employees and customers, ensuring all training activities are conducted safely, consistently, and in accordance with company procedures, quality systems, and applicable accreditation requirements.
What will you do
1. Training Delivery and Assessment
2. Deliver internal and customer-facing technical training programs including endorsed, accredited, and bespoke courses.
3. Conduct theoretical and practical competency assessments in line with Hydratight internal standards and external awarding body requirements.
4. Prepare and support the delivery of bespoke training programs to meet customer or operational needs.
5. Deliver product and application training to Hydratight employees as required.
6. Support customer-facing presentations that demonstrate Hydratight training capability and technical expertise.
7. Training Operations and Administration
8. Assist with training administration including attendance records, competency documentation, certification, and course evaluation.
9. Ensure all training equipment, tools, and rigs are safe, serviceable, and calibrated prior to use.
10. Maintain training materials, procedures, and practical setups to ensure relevance and compliance.
11. Complete all training-related paperwork in line with EQMS, HSEQ, and awarding body requirements.
12. Compliance and Continuous Improvement
13. Work closely with Training Managers, Technical Competency Leaders, and other trainers to ensure consistency of training delivery.
14. Support internal and external audits related to training and competency when required.
15. Actively contribute ideas to improve training effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.
16. Promote and support the company's continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
17. Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality
18. Ensure compliance with all company HSEQ policies, procedures, and standards during training delivery.
19. Promote safety leadership and awareness within training environments and customer sites.
20. Ensure equality of opportunity in access to training and development for all employees.
What makes you an ideal candidate
Required Capabilities
21. Competent in \"Bolted Joint Integrity\" using Torque and Bolt Tensioning Equipment and associated joint integrity activities.
22. Competent or good working knowledge of basic \"On-site Machining Practices using Portable Machine Tools\" is desirable.
23. Holds current BOSIET or equivalent offshore survival certification, or willing to obtain and travel offshore as required.
24. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essentials.
25. Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
26. Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement concepts.
27. Valid driver's licence and passport.
Education and Experience
28. Minimum 5 years' experience in a technician, supervisor, or technical engineering role within industrial services, maintenance, or related field.
29. Demonstrated experience in delivering technical training delivery, both classroom-based and practical, following documented technical and HSEQ procedures.
30. Experience conducting competency assessments in accordance with documented technical and HSEQ procedures.
31. Trainer or Assessor experience preferred but not mandatory.
32. Formal trade or technical qualification in a mechanical or maintenance discipline is desirable.
