Administration Support Officer Job Description

About this role:

The Administration Support Officer plays a pivotal part in providing general administrative and clerical support to operational staff, enabling them to focus on core functions.

This role is responsible for performing various tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, word processing, and document control. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an experienced and efficient individual who can provide administrative support to our team members. If you have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Data entry and invoice processing for suppliers/contractors
* Word processing and basic document control
* General data entry
* Housekeeping duties including tidying meeting rooms, kitchens, and stationery areas
* Maintaining office supplies and kitchen stock
* Greeting and assisting visitors
* Processing direct purchase order requests
* Providing backup support for Administrative Officer roles
* Participating as a constructive member of the Business Support Branch


Requirements:

* Prior experience in administration or a related field
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Able to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
