About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Structural Technician with strong Revit expertise to join our team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will lead the production of structural drawings and BIM models using Revit, mentoring and supporting junior technicians within the team.
The ideal candidate will take responsibility for drawing and model quality, accuracy, and deadlines, working closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to coordinate structural designs. They will play a key role in delivering a wide range of high-profile and technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the production of structural drawings and BIM models using Revit
* Mentoring and supporting junior technicians within the team
* Taking responsibility for drawing and model quality, accuracy, and deadlines
Requirements
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a Structural Technician in a consultancy environment, with advanced proficiency in Revit Structures (AutoCAD experience also beneficial). They will have a strong technical understanding of structural design and construction methods, excellent communication and coordination skills, and confidence liaising directly with clients and design teams.
The ideal candidate will hold an HNC/HND (minimum) in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
