Make a Difference in the Lives of Young People
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Specialist Homeless Support Workers to join our team in Armidale. In this role, you will work as part of a team to help vulnerable individuals in crisis and those at risk of homelessness to remain in long-term safe accommodation and break the cycle of homelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support and services to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal children, young people, and families.
* Build strong relationships with Aboriginal agencies to support and strengthen families and cultural connections.
* Advocate on behalf of Aboriginal young people and their families in providing cultural support.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or related field.
* Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly Aboriginal communities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
