We are seeking a licensed Reach Stacker Operator to become a vital member of our Kwinana Container Terminal team. This role will see you working an even time roster and paying a very competitive hourly rate.
**About the Role**:
As a Reach Stacker Operator, you will play an essential role in our road transport logistics operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely and efficiently operating heavy lifting reach stackers.
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing trains and trucks to ensure secure loading.
- Performing general terminal duties as assigned, including computer work and equipment servicing.
- Communicating effectively via two-way radio with transport coordinators and supervisors.
- Loading and unloading freight in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Conducting pre-start vehicle checks to maintain safety and compliance with lifting equipment guidelines.
- Working 12-hour shifts a 7-7roster.
- Handling dangerous goods
- Complying with safety, fatigue and heavy equipment guidelines
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- RS Ticket (mandatory).
- High risk fork lift ticket (mandatory).
- Valid driving licence.
- Dangerous Goods security card preferred.
- MC Truck license advantageous.
- Basic computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of terminal operations and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Experience with Dangerous Goods handling.
- Confident to stack equivalent of 5 high.
