Position
We have a permanent opportunity for a full-time Nail and Beauty Therapist to work within our professional and dedicated Team based at 221 The Parade, Norwood SA

This role requires a Nail and Beauty Therapist with a rare blend of technical skills in skin care and beauty treatments, natural-nail expertise, and the ability to work within a unique clinical–beauty environment.
Our business model combines traditional beauty services with podiatry-led foot care, meaning our Nail and Beauty Therapists must be competent not only in standard nail and beauty services, but also in recognising nail and skin pathologies, following advanced hygiene protocols, and working closely with clinical professionals.
They must also possess the skill and maturity required to train less experienced staff.
Key responsibilities and main duties
Perform a range of skincare and beauty treatments.
Administer various hand and feet treatments.
Perform manicures and pedicures including decorative nail art, application of artificial nails, nail repair, and other specialised hand and foot treatments.
Deliver exceptional nail services.
Conduct skin analyses, discuss clients' needs.
Use superficial beauty devices to treat clients' skin and nail.
Provide high-quality manicures and pedicures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness & infection control.
Advise on skincare routines.
Follow strict hygiene protocols.
Train other less experienced therapist.
Receive bookings, arranges appointments and maintains client records.
Provide nail and skin health education.
Work collaboratively with Podiatrists.
Possess product knowledge and provides retail support.
Recommend suitable home-care products and support retail sales where appropriate.
Maintain treatment spaces.
Undertake professional development.
Key requirements
At least an AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or an AQF Certificate IV level qualification in Beauty Therapy and a qualification in Nail Technology and 3 years of relevant work experience in a professional salon environment are a must.
However, an AQF Diploma Level qualification is preferred and highly advantageous due to the responsibilities and the professional nature of the position.
Plus at least 1-year full-time equivalent experience managing and training less experienced staff (in the last 5 years) is required.
Steady hands, a careful eye, and the ability to work with precision in every stroke, shape, and finish.
Strong understanding of skin and nail health.
Knowledge of skin and nail anatomy, common nail and skin conditions, safe treatment techniques, and when to refer to a Podiatrist.

Remuneration
An annual salary of $78,000 to $81,000 plus superannuation based on a 38-hour
week depending on qualifications and experience.
