Clinical Documentation Specialist Opportunity
Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking a skilled professional to partner with our Clinical Coding team and clinicians. This role will promote patient safety, data integrity and financial sustainability through continuous clinical documentation improvement and accurate clinical coding.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders to directly impact and optimise activity-based funding at both the point of care and post-discharge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A relevant degree in health information management or equivalent.
* Diploma in clinical coding or equivalent would be highly regarded.
