**Role**
The role of Compliance Officer has the responsibility of supporting the Compliance Manager and Head of Risk & Compliance in maintaining and improving the Compliance Framework. It is an all-encompassing compliance function that is bestowed with delegated accountability for some of the group's fundamental compliance functions, encompassing marketing due diligence.
As a member of a tight-knit team, your primary duty will involve managing the compliance framework throughout the organisation, while also offering guidance and approval on crucial marketing materials and internal protocols. You will be responsible for evaluating potential and real compliance incidents, detecting compliance discrepancies, and collaborating with key stakeholders to address them effectively.
**Skills and experience**
- 2+ years compliance experience across Financial Services products is a must
- Ideally have knowledge across current regulations surrounding the Australian Financial Services landscape
- Working knowledge of ASIC Regulatory Guides and Financial Services Law
- Good Stakeholder management skills including proven influencing skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Legal background beneficial but not mandatory
