As a first responder, emergency service agencies play a crucial role in ensuring public safety. In Queensland, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) is responsible for providing high-quality fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services to communities across the state.
We are seeking individuals to join our team as Auxiliary Firefighters, contributing to these essential services by responding to emergencies and participating in community education activities.
Key Requirements
 * Dwell or work within reasonable proximity to auxiliary fire stations.
 * Australian permanent residency status.
 
Your Key Responsibilities
 * Respond to fires and other emergency incidents as part of a team.
 * Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community outreach initiatives.
 * Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and relevant training courses.
Competencies
Candidates will be assessed on leadership and management competencies, including performance through vision, results, accountability, and shared values such as respect, integrity, trust, courage, and loyalty.
