The main purpose of this exciting role is to enable sales of our full product and service portfolio. This is achieved by providing our customers with proof points conveying our comprehensive security position and how this supports them in achieving their desired security goals. As a Customer Security Director (CSD) you will be responsible for strengthening Ericsson's capability to sell, deliver and develop solutions that optimally meet our customers' security needs.
What you will do

* Be empowered to proactively establish yourself as a trusted security advisor towards the customer (as well as internal partners).
* Give proactive security advice to Ericsson Customer Units (CU) and other decision-makers.
* Serve as the key contact between the Customer and Ericsson regarding Security, Privacy and BCM.
* Ensure the Customer's Security and privacy concerns are identified, understood, acknowledged, addressed and accurately reflected in the contract. Build a structure to verify that we deliver what we promised (contractually) when it comes to security by collaborating with our full security community.
* Support both pre‐sales and post‐sales, assessing the customers' requirements and advising on the correct solutions or services that meet their expectations.
* Proactively advise customers in a wide range of security domains, including risk assessment, governance, data management, product privacy, product security hardening, ISO 27001 security controls and procedures, and vulnerability assessment.
* Drive project delivery and gap closure by analysing customer technology, defining business requirements and participating in risk analysis.
You will bring
* The ability to lead internal security projects effectively, balancing strategic oversight with hands‐on management. The ideal candidate should be a trusted advisor capable of providing strategic guidance while also addressing critical, high‐priority tasks on short notice, requiring extensive cross‐functional facilitation within Ericsson.
* Strong relationship management skills, enabling effective coordination between internal and external cybersecurity teams and key stakeholders.
* Proven ability to communicate security and compliance expertise to both internal and external audiences, supporting Ericsson's security posture to key decision‐makers.
* Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, security or other similar technical area, or equivalent experience. Master's preferred.
* 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity.
* Solid domain expertise in the telecom industry and/or IoT, including confirmed experience with product security, privacy and general cybersecurity.
* Understanding of solution security aspects applicable to the telco space, such as security implications of Open RAN, Service Based Architecture, Core and Ran interfaces, network slicing, distributed cloud solutions, Managed Service solutions, XaaS Solutions, etc.
* Proficient understanding of the context of local security‐based regulation within the communication space.
* Solid understanding and knowledge of security frameworks, assurance schemes and regulations.
* Solid communication and presentation skills (in written and spoken English) with international and social competence.
