You'll play a pivotal role in providing Security Architecture, Design and Advisory ensuring pragmatic alignment between Security best practices, organisational risk appetite and The Technology Strategy.Your key responsibilities will includeDevelop and implement robust security architecture and designs, spanning multiple domainsEffectively communicate security advisory to diverse stakeholders, including Heads of Technology, Technology Leads, Engineers, and DesignersConduct thorough security control assessments to validate control effectiveness, implementation, and alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standardsPerform threat modelling and risk assessments to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategiesAssist in the creation and maintenance of architecture artifacts, including Security Architecture Blueprints, Patterns, Architecture Models, and Security Standards and PoliciesSupport and champion governance of technology decisions, with a focus on security considerationsCollaborate with the broader Insignia architecture community to support and enhance architecture practices and processesWhat you will bringDemonstrated expertise in providing security architecture and advisory services for both on-premises and cloud-hosted environments and solutionsProficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is idealDemonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, adeptly navigating both business and technical challenges to achieve successful but pragmatic security outcomesExperience within the financial services or wealth management sector, is highly desirable demonstrating understanding of industry-specific security requirements and challengesStrong communication and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and driving alignment on security initiativesDeep understanding of security technologies, frameworks, and methodologies, ensuring informed decision-makingPossession of industry-recognized security certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, SANS GIAC, SANS GCSE, ISACA CSXP, or similar is idealProficient with architecture frameworks and practices, leveraging them to develop and implement Security Architecture and DesignsFind the better wayWhat gets us excited about working here?
