Construction Manager – Victoria
Location: Victoria (various sites). It is a hands-on, leadership role overseeing multiple construction repair projects—small, medium, and large—ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.
What You'll Do
Lead and mentor the construction team to deliver detailed scopes of work and accurate budgets for tenders.
Oversee project scheduling and manage multiple site teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
Drive WHS and safety compliance across all projects in collaboration with the BBS WHS team.
Manage contractors and suppliers to meet company standards, purchase orders, and compliance requirements.
Ensure projects remain profitable while delivering exceptional customer service.
Collaborate closely with the State Operations Manager and company Directors on project strategy and delivery.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing construction teams and multiple projects.
Solid background in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairs.
Strong experience in estimating, budget management, and delivering building repairs.
Confidence managing stakeholders, including property owners, clients, and insurers.
Ability to juggle competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, WHS requirements, permits, and inspections.
Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
Understanding of relevant Building Codes and Australian Standards.
