Project Engineer / Estimator / Coordinator

About the Role
Alzino & Co is seeking an experienced Project Engineer or Project Estimator / Coordinator to join our growing team in the Moreton Bay Region. This is a key role within the business, working closely with management and project teams to deliver accurate, competitive estimates across a range of civil and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities (Estimation / Coordination)
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
* Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
* Conduct quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns
* Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options
* Ordering of materials for various civil sites
* Support project teams with pricing variations and progress claims
Key Responsibilities (Enginnering)
* Submit RFI's and variation requests to project superintendent
* Construction program and EOT management
* Conduct site inspections and on / off maintenance inspections
About You
* Proven experience as a Project Estimator (civil/construction preferred)
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies and materials
* High attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
