Role
As a Project Engineer/Manager you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of subdivision projects, from tendering and pre-construction through to delivery and completion. Your responsibilities will include;
* Coordinating project delivery with site supervisors
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely to specification and in line with program
* Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical and delivery issues
* Managing project variations and contract administration
* Monitoring project costs and supporting commercial reporting
* Preparing tender submissions including scope review and pricing
* Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing
* Assisting with tender strategy and cost estimates
* Coordinating procurement and subcontractor engagement once projects are secured
* Supporting project setup including early planning and mobilisation
Background
To secure this role you will be a tertiary qualified Civil Engineer, with strong experience in the delivery of subdivision and infrastructure projects. In addition we are seeking;
* A minimum of 6 years' experience in civil construction
* Delivery and Estimating experience.
* Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
* Experience with cost control, variations and contract administration
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Have a strong commitment to safety
