Project Managers - We're hiring on behalf of a leading Newbuild Head contractor known for consistently delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, sporting facilities, retail and infrastructure projects valued up to $70 million.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager or Senior PM to take the lead on high-value builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling – Define scope, methodology, and sequencing with clients and teams. Develop and manage detailed construction programs and procurement timelines.
- Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement – Lead site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants. Maintain strong working relationships with clients, councils, and key authorities.
- Quality & Safety Oversight – Uphold QA/QC standards and enforce strict WHS compliance, especially in high-risk and industrial environments.
- Commercial & Contract Management – Control project budgets, variations, claims, and subcontractor agreements to deliver robust commercial outcomes.
- Risk & Issue Management – Proactively identify risks and implement strategies to prevent delays or cost blowouts.
- Compliance – Ensure all work aligns with Australian Standards, engineering specs, and relevant regulations.
What You’ll Need:
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
- 6+ years of proven experience delivering commercial and/or industrial projects in the $10M+ range
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Procore, Aconex, or similar construction management platforms
- Deep understanding of WHS legislation and current construction methodologies
