Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance tasks as delegated by Team Leaders:
o Mechanical AMEs: Maintain hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic, and propulsion systems, along with related components and propellers.
o Avionic AMEs: Inspect, diagnose faults, and maintain avionic systems and components on fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
o Structures AME: Produce, maintain, and repair sheet metal, bonded, and non-metallic composite materials and components on aircraft.
o Armament AMEs: Maintain emergency escape systems, egress systems, and aircraft weapon systems, including computers, stores, and load-carrying systems.
* Evaluate and utilise authorised maintenance and technical documentation during tasks.
* Accurately record work details on relevant documents and certify performance within required timeframes.
* Implement directed engineering advice, defect reporting, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments.
* Notify Team Leaders of defects, deficiencies, errors, and unserviceability as they occur.
* Carry out maintenance only within designated and authorised levels.
* Initiate quality, non-conformance, or defect reporting for maintenance tasks as directed.
About You
* Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent recognised training (mandatory).
* Be an Australian Citizen capable of obtaining a Federal Government Security Clearance (mandatory).
* Have experience or interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrate ability to deliver work in a fast-paced team environment.
Applicant Eligibility
Australian Citizenship is mandatory due to the need for a Defence security clearance. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may affect candidate suitability based on nationality.
