The Opportunity
Located at our V&V Walsh facility in Bunbury, which processes both beef and lamb products, this full-time position offers a dynamic work environment. Our team of approximately 600 employees ensures that each day presents a fresh challenge and opportunity. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to develop their skills in the food processing industry.
Your Key Responsibilities
Handling and moving livestock (cattle and/or sheep) safely and humanely within the stockyard area
Assisting with loading and unloading carcasses in the loadout area, including pushing carcasses and manual lifting
Scanning, weighing, and recording finished products accurately for traceability and inventory control
Operating machinery and equipment efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Performing general labouring tasks such as trimming, sorting, or stacking products
Operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment (where licensed) to move product and supplies safely
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of all work areas, including regular housekeeping duties
Following all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and practices
Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards
Your Essential Skills And Experience
A valid Licence and transportation
Good organisational skills.
High level of self-motivation.
Forklift licence (advantageous)
