About The Role
You will play a key role in assessing risk, providing psychoeducation and delivering interventions aimed at developing coping skills and building resilience. Your expertise in psychological assessment and intervention will be invaluable in this position.
* Provide education on mental health conditions, symptoms and treatment options to individuals
* Deliver individual or group-based brief, skill acquisition-focused interventions
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience in psychological assessment and intervention for adults with mental health conditions, cognitive impairments or developmental disorders
* Knowledge of risk assessment tools and rehabilitation strategies in correctional settings
* Strong communication skills for engaging diverse client groups and stakeholders
Requirements:
* General or provisional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (or eligibility to obtain registration upon commencement)
* Bachelor's degree (4-year minimum) in Psychology or Behavioural Science
* Compliance with National Psychology Board and AHPRA registration standards
