About the role We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support a global gas client. This role plays a critical role in ensuring our projects meet high standards of health safety and security.
* Develop project health, safety, security and environmental management plans.
* Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Implement and maintain HSS and ER aspects of Project HSE Management Plans.
* Participate in risk management workshops.
* Support contract owners in meeting HSS requirements.
* Collaborate with specialists to support HSS and ER requirements.
* Facilitate assurance activities, including audits.
* Assist with hazard and incident management and reporting.
* Prepare and deliver training sessions.
* Monitor operations for compliance.
* Represent the team as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in safety, health or related fields are required. At least 3 years' experience in offshore oil/gas or high-risk industries is necessary. Knowledge of HSS management systems and WA safety case regimes is required. Familiarity with Commonwealth, State and Territory HSE legislation is necessary. Experience in auditing, investigations and incident management is required.
* Auditing, Investigations and Incident Management training is desirable.
* Audit, Investigation and Training certifications: TBOSIET, CAEBS, MISC.
