Our client specialises in the installation of Velux roof windows and other skylight products. What you'll be doing
* Installation of Velux skylights and associated products according to manufacturer specification
* Perform maintenance and repairs on existing Velux skylight installations
* Prepare materials and equipment for daily tasks as required
* Train and provide support for current teams of installers and office staff as required
* Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality workmanship
* Communicate effectively with the broader team to ensure seamless project delivery
* Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols
* Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the positive reputation of the company
* Upon the growth of the business you will lead and drive the business with the support and guidance from the owner to support you through your transition into a leadership position.
What we're looking for
* Formal carpentry qualification and several years of practical experience
* Strong working knowledge of Velux skylight products and their installation requirement
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to handle any issues that may arise
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment and a natural born leader
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A valid driver's license
