About The Role
The Manual Handling Program Co-ordinator is a key member of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team, reporting to the Manual Handling Program Team Leader. This role works in collaboration with Clinical and Allied Health subject matter experts, the Nursing Education Manager, and representatives from departments where there is a higher risk of musculoskeletal injury. The Manual Handling Program Co-ordinator is responsible for developing, delivering, and continuously improving the Manual Handling Risk Management and Training Program. This program is designed to educate employees in safe work practices to minimise the risk of manual handling injuries and to promote a culture of safety across the organisation.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Nursing, Allied Health, Health Science), Current and valid driver's licence
* Experience working in a clinical or allied health setting, preferably within a hospital environment
* Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field (desirable)
