The Prospect
This role is responsible for conducting end-to-end recruitment practices for the corporate office (SSC). Develop and retain strong talent in line with our company values and philosophies. This role is also responsible for providing a wide range of operational and strategic human resources expertise and services as well as generalist advice and support to line managers and employees throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end process for: SSC recruitment across multiple disciplines, Assistance with Graduate (UMC) recruitment
- Build and maintain a talent pool in core and critical areas
- Attend educational career fairs to strengthen UNIQLO’s employer brand and to assist in attracting top talent
- Create a strong onboarding and induction plan for all new starters
- Build Employee Value Proposition as part of an employer branding project for recruitment and selection
- Ongoing liaison with department heads to understand headcount and talent needs
- Complete reporting when required
- Work across numerous Talent Acquisition and HR projects
- Any other ad-hoc projects/tasks as required
- Put into context how this role fits into the department / company
- Detail the complexity of the role, commenting on impact of role and highlighting any supporting data, e.g.: budgets, numbers of people in broader team.
- Support the SSC talent development activities including IDP creation and succession planning.
- Actively participate in the People Processes and ensure 100% are complete within agreed timeframes
- Contribute to team culture plans
- Make safety a priority and champion a safety culture
- Works closely with leaders and employees to improve culture, engagement, work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Be the data management expert in Workday.
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Desired - qualification in Human Resources Manager and/or Psychology
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Recruitment end to end proves experience
- Prior experience working within an international company
- Workday and/or other HRIS system experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
