**The Opportunity**:
Our Member Services Representatives (MSR) are vital members of our Fitness First Health Club family. As an MSR at Fitness First you will be responsible for maximising member growth and retention. You will be required to use your 'best in class' customer service skills to engage with our existing members and provide them with the motivation to visit your club regularly. You will also take responsibility for providing prospective members with a positive first impression that inspires them to trust Fitness First Health Clubs with their health, fitness, and well-being needs.
We have two (One Part Time and one Full Time) Member Services Representative opportunities available at our Fitness First Bayside club
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Meet and greet members as they enter the club, providing them exceptional customer service
- Provide "walk-in" prospect members with engaging and motivating tours
- Proactively maximise member growth, through lead-generating & creation of a referral database
- Achieving retail targets by identifying member needs and recommending appropriate fitness products
- Assisting members with recommendations of products and fitness classes
- Accurate point of sale transactions and completion of end of day/shift cash balancing
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Exceptional customer service skills gained from a customer focussed or reception background
- Previous sales experience and a drive to achieve sales targets is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, motivate and inspire others
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- An enthusiasm for health & fitness, and helping others
- Microsoft OS experience is advantageous
- A current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one is desirable
