Personal Support Assistant
About the Role:
You will work as part of a dedicated team providing high-quality support to individuals in need. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional care and assistance, ensuring residents and patients receive the best possible service.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Support daily living activities, such as hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meals, with empathy and understanding.
* Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the clinical team for effective management.
* Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and related documentation processes.
* Administer medications and treatments under close supervision, adhering to established protocols.
* Provide reassurance and emotional support to clients and their families during challenging times.
* Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with safety and care standards.
What We Are Looking For:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent qualification.
* Current AHPR registration or completion of an approved Assistant in Nursing program.
* Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within the team.
* Knowledge of infection control and safe work practices, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
