About the Opportunity:
Our company is seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to help us expand our market presence across the country. This role involves a blend of work at our office and travel to interstate locations on an intermittent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Drive sales growth in assigned territories by developing and executing effective sales strategies that achieve sales targets and grow market share.
2. Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
3. Maintain a Sales Call Schedule: Ensure timely follow-up with clients and prospects to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
4. Generate Quotes and Follow Through on Pipeline Orders: Provide high levels of customer service by generating accurate quotes and following through on pipeline orders in a timely manner.
5. Analyze Market Trends and Competitor Activities: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
6. Prepare Sales Forecasts and Reports: Collaborate with upper management to prepare sales forecasts and reports that inform strategic business decisions.
7. Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (desirable but not essential).
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or sales management, preferably in manufacturing.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
6. Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
