Technical Maintenance Support is a progressive, independently owned and operated company based in Geraldton, Perth, and Kalgoorlie, WA. We specialise in a wide range of services, primarily focused on fixed plant mining equipment throughout the Midwest and Pilbara regions.
About the Role
As a Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in manning and in-depth mobilisation and demobilisation of people and equipment for shutdowns and projects. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will work in conjunction with Management to ensure Workfronts are manned, and employees are site ready and mobilised to site.
Responsibilities
* Plan and assign crew to all Shutdown and Projects Works
* Enter & manage works in Rapid Crews
* Coordinate workload for Personnel Logistics Officers
* Handle on-call requirements
* Assign & manage client site access needs
* Arrange logistics to and from site
* Provide quotes and estimates for all Shutdown and Projects work
* Approve mobilisation and demobilisation emails (formed by the Personnel Logistics Officers)
* Assign new starters to jobs as required
* Liaise with the Recruitment Officer for any vacant positions and advise them to advertise
* Maintain Employee Records / Training Matrix through Rapid Crews
* Conduct handovers when required to ensure the department runs smoothly
* Attend management and logistics meetings twice a week
* Conduct and supervise DAS and Fit Testing when required
* Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Experience with shutdown/turnaround planning and execution
* Proficiency with logistics software and data analysis highly desirable
* Excellent communication and management skills
* Strong focus on safety and compliance
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 2 years in a leadership or similar position
* Valid Police Clearance
