Infrastructure Project Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled professional to manage commercial and contract matters related to allocated subcontracts on a major infrastructure project in Perth, Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage commercial and contract matters related to allocated subcontracts
* Support internal stakeholders with tendering, negotiation, and formation of assigned subcontracts
* Assist with project subcontracting strategy for assigned subcontracts
* Partner with internal management and stakeholders to review project budget and ensure adequate allocation to subcontracts
* Effective administration of all subcontracts to optimize earnings on project
* Prepare claims and variations for adjustment of compensation and time under the head contract and assigned subcontracts
* Manage and resolve claims with subcontractors/suppliers in accordance with Contract Formation and Administration Operating Standards

Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management, and economics (CM&E)
* At least 3 years of experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers
* Demonstrated experience as a contracts administrator or commercial/contracts advisor on building projects
