Remuneration Package – salary range: $174,277 - $189,786 (including salary $148,302 - $161,638).
The Director, Wildlife Operations provides strategic, operational and professional leadership to ensure the effective protection and management of wildlife across the Northern Territory. The role is responsible for delivering the Government’s statutory obligations and policy objectives under the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 1976, while leading a specialised and geographically dispersed workforce.
This senior leadership position plays a critical role in wildlife compliance, enforcement, policy development and stakeholder engagement, and represents the Northern Territory at a national level on key wildlife and environmental matters.
