Known as one of the leading firms in the delivery of complex projects, our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join their forward thinking, professional and dynamic project management consultancy in Sydney.
A high degree of client and stakeholder liaison will be involved, from feasibility stage to delivery stage of the project. Leadership, communication and people management skillset will be paramount along with a strong base of technical knowledge.
Project experience in public sector related specifically to Education (Universities and Schools) would be ideal. Their work varies across Health, Housing, Government, etc. as well.
Candidates can come from client-side consultancy, main contractor or consulting engineering firms but will need some client-side or consulting experience.
This is a 3-month contract role with an ASAP start. You will be working autonomously across the construction phase of 2x $9m Education projects reporting into a remote Director. The projects are live environment and in the construction delivery phase.
The opportunity is very flexible with working from home. Can be engaged on a fixed term contract, day rate or contracting through an ABN.

* Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent
* Commissioning and post contract duties for handover
Qualifications and Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar
* 5 - 10 plus years' experience of end-to-end project management on building projects
* Experience in Business Development or a strong network would be an advantage
* Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
