Theo Agelis Constructions, South Australia's premier earthworks & concrete construction company, is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join a collaborative team in a permanent part‑time position reporting to the Chief Operations Officer.

In this key support role, you will support core financial activities, ensuring accuracy in financial records and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance or accounting, exceptional organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering high quality service.

Key responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently process supplier invoices, ensuring all transactions have the required approvals and supporting documentation.
* Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries and keep information up to date.
* Complete vendor statement reconciliations and resolve variances promptly.
* Prepare weekly and monthly payments, import into bank and issue remittance advice to vendors.
* Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
* Oversee and manage insurance claims processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Process supplier account applications as required.
* Request, track, and collect compliance certificates from subcontractors (e.g. insurance, safety certifications, licenses, training records, etc.).
* Administration duties including petty cash/admin reconciliations, managing fuel and business cards, updating spreadsheets and document management.


Skills and Experience

* 2‑3 years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
* Advanced experience utilising finance/accounting software programmes, particularly Xero, Xero Projects and Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team‑focused approach.
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail to maintain the integrity of financial records.
* High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professional work ethic.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of the construction industry (desirable).
