As a Senior Analyst in Portfolio Risk Management and Stress Testing, you will contribute to enterprise-wide stress testing and portfolio risk initiatives that provide critical balance sheet and risk insights across Macquarie Group. You will have exposure to complex portfolio risk analysis, scenario design, and interaction with both Group Treasury and Operating Groups. You will be working across quantitative analysis, portfolio risk interpretation, and communicating insights to a broad range of stakeholders.

What role will you play?
In this role, you will be supporting the development and execution of enterprise‐wide stress testing and portfolio risk analysis, while contributing to the design and enhancement of stress scenarios across macroeconomic, market and idiosyncratic risk drivers. You will be assisting in the review and challenge of stress testing methodologies, key assumptions, portfolio overlays, aggregation outputs and analysis prepared for both internal and regulatory stress testing exercises. You will be producing high‐quality analysis and insights to inform capital and liquidity risk assessments, supporting risk appetite and portfolio risk discussions, and contributing to recovery and resolution planning activities. You will also be working closely with Group Treasury and Operating Groups to ensure consistency, coherence and quality across all stress testing and portfolio risk outputs, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, documentation and analytical frameworks.
What You Offer
* Experience in risk, treasury, balance sheet management, stress testing, or portfolio analytics within a financial services environment
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret portfolio-level risk outcomes
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
* Curiosity and problem‐solving mindset, with an interest in understanding how balance sheet risks emerge and interact under stress
* Exposure to group stress testing, ICAAP, capital or liquidity risk is highly regarded.
