About the role

The Lead People and Culture Business Partners are senior generalist roles within the People & Culture team, responsible for delivering high-level strategic and operational people services across Council. As the most senior generalists within the People & Culture team next to the People and Culture Managers, these roles provide expert guidance on complex workforce matters, industrial relations, and organisational change. They partner with senior leaders to drive people strategies aligned with Council's values and strategic objectives, while also mentoring and coaching People and Culture Business Partners and supervising People and Culture Advisers to build capability across the team. These Lead Business Partner roles play a critical part in shaping Council's people strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, and fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture.

Remuneration

$125,769 - $140,752 + 12% superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in human resources, employment or industrial relations or a related discipline with significant experience in senior HR generalist or business partnering roles in a diverse organisation
* Proven ability to influence and coach people leaders, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and lead strategic workforce initiatives
* Significant experience in managing organisational change, realignment and restructures, and employee relations matters
* Experience in leading teams and overseeing the delivery of end-to-end processes and quality people services with measurable outcomes
