We're seeking a Payroll Officer to provide 3 months of coverage, starting immediately.

Working closely with our external payroll provider, you'll ensure compliance, accuracy and seamless communication across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure wages, salaries and allowances are accurately processed by the external payroll agencyMaintain leave records and ensure correct administration through the payroll agencyPrepare and lodge payroll taxResolve payroll queries and act as the primary HR point of contact for employeesPrepare monthly payroll journals and maintain payroll costing dataProvide general payroll support and assist with ad hoc duties as neededWhat We're Looking ForDemonstrated experience in Payroll and Accounts PayableExperience using Pronto - EssentialBackground in mining or resourcesStrong MS Office skills, especially Excel (vlookups, formulas, graphs)Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of peopleA team player who supports colleagues and can guide junior staff when neededExcellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectivelyHigh attention to detail, accuracy and proactive problem-solvingIf this sounds like the right fit for you, apply today.
