About the Role:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. This involves conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Act as a key member of the care team, standing in for the Manager as required, and take charge of tasks assigned to ensure seamless operation of the unit.
* Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including medication management, wound care, and chronic condition management, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
* Maintain open communication with families and GPs, keeping them informed about changes in resident conditions and involving them in decision-making processes whenever possible.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of care team members, promoting effective teamwork and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
* Evaluate and improve the quality of care provided, identifying areas for growth and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance resident outcomes.
