Procurement Manager Role
Lead the end-to-end procurement and supply chain functions on a high-value project, ensuring sourcing, contract management, expediting, and logistics are executed with precision and alignment to project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the procurement lifecycle for infrastructure projects, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, contracting, logistics, and supplier quality activities.
* Manage procurement schedules in line with overall project delivery timelines and financial targets.
* Liaise with internal departments (engineering, development, cost control, project delivery) and international offices to streamline communication and approval workflows.
* Conduct supplier identification, pre-qualification, and tender processes in alignment with technical and commercial requirements.
* Support contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors, aiming for optimal value, risk mitigation, and delivery assurance.
* Oversee compliance with procurement policies, contract terms, and regulatory obligations throughout project execution.
* Monitor supplier performance and maintain active oversight of delivery timelines, quality assurance inspections, and document handovers.
* Collaborate with the engineering team on defining specifications and ensuring alignment between technical documentation and procurement needs.
* Feed pricing and supplier data into early-stage project estimation and cost modelling.
* Manage purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and change orders in coordination with commercial and legal teams.
* Proactively resolve delivery issues, supply chain disruptions, or vendor-related concerns.
