Apparel Department Supervisor Role
This role involves leading a department in providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining merchandising and visual standards, as well as sales results within your department.
As a department supervisor, you will support the store management team by:
* Modeling exceptional customer service
* Supporting and guiding the team to deliver exceptional service
* Actively gaining, maintaining, and sharing product and brand knowledge
* Supporting the management team to improve financial performance
* Working with the back-of-house team to ensure product availability
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Model exceptional customer service, every customer, every time.
2. Team Guidance: Support and guide the team to deliver exceptional service and a 'service over task' environment.
3. Product Knowledge: Actively gain, maintain, and share product and brand knowledge for your department.
4. Financial Performance: Support the management team to improve financial performance within your department.
5. Inventory Management: Work with the back-of-house team to ensure product availability.
Requirements:
* 2-3 years of experience within retail or a similar industry
* Passion for delivering an amazing service experience for customers
* Positive attitude with capacity to create a motivating environment for the team
* Excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, someone who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers and team members
