In this pivotal role, you will assist the general managers of salmon and fresh water in managing programs, ensuring alignment and support while leading key initiatives. We are looking for someone with a blend of project/program management expertise and process/operations experience, to play a pivotal role in our strategic improvement initiatives and CAPEX projects.This role is essential for the safe and efficient operation of our Farming Operations and the achievement of our business KPIs and improvement projects.What You'll BringAt Tassal, we recently introduced ‘Our Blueprint’, our strategic vision for the future. As a Strategic Initiatives Manager, you will play a crucial role in bringing this vision to life.Technical Skills & KnowledgeTo excel in this role, you will need:Proven experience in program and project management.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within a large organization.In-depth understanding of Lean and process control principles, with Six Sigma training being a plus, and a track record of process optimization.Experience in manufacturing or operations leadership, with a tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline being advantageous.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to facilitate cross-functional problem-solving events.Demonstrated success in driving results through continuous improvement tools and methodologies.Proficiency in computer skills and project management tools/systems.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Hands-on experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives.Why Join Us?At Tassal, we are committed to sustainably feeding tomorrow.
