Delivery Sequencing Lead
At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Delivery Sequencing Lead to play a key role in the program management and planning of extended track possessions across all work packages.
About the Role
As a Delivery Sequencing Lead, you will be responsible for chairing multi-agency working groups to develop and endorse extended possession applications, monitoring readiness, and supporting robust, timely decision-making. You will also support contractors in applying for extended possessions, including access justification aligned with construction requirements.

* Coordinate state agencies to identify opportunities for extended possessions during low-demand periods and develop possession regimes aligned to broader rail activities.

Additionally, you will monitor changes or risks in construction schedules that may impact possession plans, and lead the development of mitigation and contingency strategies.
To achieve these goals, you will prepare governance materials (e.g., feasibility assessments, options analyses, readiness assurance documents) and present structured information at the Delivery Sequencing Steering Committee. You will also manage communication with stakeholders across disciplines regarding possession program changes, ensuring accurate, timely updates and risk escalations.
Furthermore, you will maintain key processes, tools, and documentation in line with project requirements and governance frameworks. In addition, you will lead and manage the Delivery Sequencing team, setting KPIs, supporting professional development, and aligning team efforts with project priorities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring experience in possession planning and/or works sequencing in complex, multi-agency public transport environments. You will also have the ability to proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
