Senior Legal Counsel
We are seeking an experienced and proactive legal professional to support our operations in Australia and New Zealand.
* Review draft and negotiate contracts, including for major projects, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Provide strategic legal advice on disputes, litigation and risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.
* Manage relationships with external counsel, regulators and insurers to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Monitor and interpret legislative changes impacting the business, advising stakeholders on necessary adjustments.
* Support the renewal of insurance policies and manage insurer notifications to maintain coverage.
* Deliver training sessions and foster a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organization.
* Represent the ANZ region in collaboration with APAC and Group legal teams to align regional interests.
