Your writing will directly shape our success in major infrastructure bids, partnering closely with engineers, operations, strategy leaders, and market specialists to create compelling, high-quality content. All of this happens within a supportive, high-performing team that values quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
As a Bid Writer, you will shape the narrative of some of Australia's most exciting infrastructure proposals. You'll develop clear, persuasive, client-focused written content that brings our capabilities to life and differentiates us in competitive tenders. You'll work closely with technical experts, project leaders, marketing, and pre-contracts teams to develop strategic messaging, build high-quality content libraries, and continuously refine how we tell our story.
What You'll Be Doing
Write and edit compelling EOIs, proposals, and tender responses that align with evaluation criteria and client needs.
Develop persuasive narratives, win themes, and value propositions.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical input into clear, client-oriented messaging.
Maintain and enhance content libraries, templates, case studies, and staff CVs.
Ensure consistency in tone, structure, branding, and writing quality across all submissions.
What You Bring
5+ years' experience in bid writing, technical writing, engineering, marketing, or related fields.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, client-focused language.
Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word and ideally desktop publishing tools (InDesign, Photoshop).
Ability to thrive under deadlines and manage competing priorities.
