The Opportunity
We are building a network of experienced Defence professionals to support upcoming exercise planning, training delivery and operational simulation activities across multiple programs.
These roles sit within Defence training environments and support the planning and execution of complex activities including Command Post Exercises, Warfighter Exercises and synthetic training environments.
We are particularly interested in individuals who have previously operated at Brigade, Division, Joint Task Force or Headquarters Joint Operations Command level.
This is not a standard full-time role. Engagements may be project-based, flexible or part-time depending on activity cycles.
Key Responsibilities
* Support planning and execution of Defence exercises and training activities
* Translate strategic guidance into operational and tactical planning outputs
* Develop orders, scenarios, injects and briefing materials
* Contribute to HICON / LOCON / OPFOR / simulation environments
* Participate in planning conferences, working groups and execution activities
* Provide SME advice on operational planning, warfighting and training design
Essential Criteria
* Previous ADF experience in planning, operations or warfighting roles
* Experience at Brigade, Division, Joint or equivalent level
* Current or reinstatable NV1 or NV2 security clearance
Nice to Have
* Experience in exercise design, simulation or synthetic environments
* Exposure to joint or multi-domain operations
* Experience supporting Defence training establishments
Security Requirement
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold (or be eligible to reinstate) a minimum NV1 clearance. NV2 highly regarded.
