Job Title: CNC Machinist (First Class) – Program, Set & Operate Location: Ingleburn, NSW Salary: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour Super OT Company: C&M Precision Machining The Opportunity Are you a Machinist who thrives on complexity rather than repetition? C&M Precision is a high-tech, family-run engineering hub in Ingleburn that handles the "tough jobs" others turn away. We don't just run parts; we solve engineering challenges for the Medical, Defence, and Mining sectors. We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist who can own the process from start to finish—interpreting complex drawings, programming the machine, and ensuring every micron is accounted for. What You’ll Be Doing End-to-End Machining: Program, set, and operate multi-axis CNC Mills and Lathes (Fanuc/Okuma/Haas). Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and GD&T specifications with 100% accuracy. Tooling & Setup: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding for bespoke, high-tolerance components. Quality First: Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure parts meet ISO-regulated standards. Optimization: Fine-tune programs and speeds/feeds to maximize efficiency without compromising on the finish. What You Bring Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent. Programming Prowess: Proven experience in CAM programming (Mastercam/Esprit preferred) and G-Code manipulation. Material Knowledge: Experience working with a variety of materials, from Aluminium and Stainless Steel to exotic alloys and Titanium. The "C&M" Attitude: A self-starter who takes pride in a clean workspace and high-quality output. You don't just "operate"; you understand the why behind the cut. Why Join C&M Precision? Premium Pay: $40–$50/hr based on your technical ability and experience. Stability: A family-owned business with a 20 year track record and a heavy pipeline of Defence and Rail projects. Clean & Air-Conditioned: Work in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility—no more sweating it out in a dusty shed. Culture: We treat our team like family. We invest in the latest machinery and want our staff to grow alongside the technology.
