The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial reporting to support our operations. This role requires a high level of integrity, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices.Prepare and reconcile bank statements and financial reports.Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax and superannuation requirements.Prepare BAS, IAS, and other statutory returns.Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.Provide financial support and advice to management.RequirementsSkills & Experience:Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks).Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in the NDIS sector (desirable but not essential).Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).CPA or CA qualification (desirable but not essential).Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team.Professional development and training opportunities.Supportive and inclusive company culture.
