The Role
Applications are sought from experienced Underground Mine Surveyors to join the team at Ora Banda.
Responsibilities
* Ensure routine tasks are performed in accordance with survey procedures and standards and conform with the Mine Survey Code of Practice and relevant regulations.
* Carry out all set outs, pickups and mark-ups as required for mining.
* Confirm EOM surveys are conducted accurately and efficiently.
* Perform the collection and processing of survey data and production of plans, reports and other forms of spatial information, including systems to ensure integrity and continued availability of data.
* Ensure that survey equipment is well maintained and in good working order.
* Provide technical support, assistance and advice to other departments as required.
About You (Qualifications & Skills)
* Relevant qualification in Surveying.
* Minimum of one year's experience working as an Underground Surveyor in the Australian Mining Industry.
* Working knowledge of surveying software (Deswik and Agisoft desirable).
* Desirable Equipment Use: Leica TS16 Total Station, Elios 3 Underground Drone, Geosight NX150 CMS, DJI Phantom 4 RTK Drone.
* RPAS Drone License (desirable).
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* WA Manual Driver's License.
