Our practice established over 16yrs ago is an extremely reputable and is situated in the beautiful FNQ town of Port Douglas. Home to over 5,500 residents in Port Douglas & 12,000 with surrounding areas, we experience an influx of visitors in winter when the weather is perfection and over school holiday periods, then catering to around 700,000 visitors. Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest there is an abundance of outdoor activities from diving, hiking, waterfalls, beach walks, fishing, golf and not to mention being a foodie’s paradise. Our fully accredited practice is purpose built with beautiful timber decks wrapping around lush tropical manicured gardens designed to create the feeling of Peace in our natural environment. We have a strong local following of our 3 very experienced GPs and our tight knit team consisting of a Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Medical Assistant, Practice Manager and 2 Receptionists, all who have worked here long term.
Our practice is unique with GPs that specialise in areas of expertise using both conventional and complimentary medicines, benefiting our patients. We are a mixed billing practice and have GPs that specialise in Japanese Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynae, Hypnotherapy, Nutrition, Gut Health & Allergies, Medicinal Cannabis, Skin Cancers & Minor Procedures. We are looking for a VR GP who is open to our Holistic approach and can also bring good quality care to our patients who would be happy to work 3-5 days per week (negotiable days/hours).
We are only open Monday-Friday leaving weekends free to enjoy. Pay will be discussed with the right GP dependant on experience and specialties you bring to our practice, and we are very open to negotiate rates, hours of work, terms and conditions. With the current incentive in QLD of up to $20,000 for relocation expenses, this is an easy decision to make!!
