Front Office Supervisor – East Coast Tasmania
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Front Office Supervisor to join a busy coastal hospitality venue on Tasmania’s stunning East Coast. This role offers the chance to grow your career while enjoying a relaxed seaside lifestyle in one of Australia’s most picturesque regions.
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Fixed term until approx. 12th April 2026 (with potential to extend)
Package Options
- Annual Salary: $68,000 + Super
- OR Hourly Rate: $28.12 (Mon–Fri), $35.15 (Sat), $42.18 (Sun)
- $2,000 completion bonus
- Subsidised accommodation: $150/week (shared 2-bedroom staff house, not suitable for children or pets)
Key Duties
- Opening and closing reception operations
- Managing reservations and guest check-ins/check-outs
- Preparing rosters and supervising reception staff
- Training and supporting the front office team
- Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Handling guest complaints and ensuring smooth service delivery
- Banking, reconciliations, and balancing tills
- General front office and administrative tasks as required
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a front office or supervisory role
- Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months
- Confident working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Previous remote/regional experience highly regarded
- Must hold or be able to obtain a current police clearance
