As a key contributor to our sales organization, we are seeking an energetic and innovative Business Development Representative with a flair for developing new business and identifying qualified leads.
This role will involve working hand-in-hand with marketing and outside sales to deliver a world-class customer experience. You will be responsible for initiating or guiding the customer conversation and ultimately providing qualifying information to sales teams.
* Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through prospecting, research, and lead generation.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional field teams to focus on specific accounts and drive sales growth.
* Partner with enterprise sales teams in assigned regions to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 4+ years of sales experience in business development, inside sales, or enterprise software sales.
* Knowledge of big data ecosystem, including data warehousing, data engineering, data in motion, operational databases, cloud, and/or machine learning technologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
* A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and sales strategies.
