Introduction
This role supports the Director of St Nicholas by ensuring the smooth operation of the Office, managing daily administration, and advancing strategic priorities. You will also foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Position Description
The purpose of this position is to provide a high level of organizational support to the Director of St Nicholas and manage all aspects of the office for the Director. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for building and fostering positive and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and will exercise discretion, judgment, initiative and confidentiality as this is a position of trust.
Experience / Criteria
Skills and Experiences:
* Capacity to understand, promote and model the Catholic mission of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle
* High level of communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and an ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changed timelines and significant events
* Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* High level of proficiency in common office applications (e.g., Office 365) and Electronic Document Records Management System (HPE Content Manager)
Qualifications
* Business Administration Diploma or Certificate IV or equivalent
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Class C Driver's Licence
* Previous Administrative experience
* 2 years' experience in an Executive Assistant Role (Desirable)
* Experience in the Early Education industry (Desirable)
