Job Description
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Market Infrastructure team. As an Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and assessing regulatory strategies and interventions to support compliance and address misconduct or market integrity risks.
You will assess the suitability and ongoing appropriateness of financial products admitted to public markets and make evidence-based recommendations. Conduct research and analysis on market developments and emerging issues to inform regulatory priorities, law reform, and guidance.
Draft clear, accurate and structured reports, submissions, presentations and internal advice on regulatory matters, including contributions to Commission papers. Analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to inform regulatory judgments and monitor sector trends.
Coordinate and contribute to effective engagement with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulated entities and other regulators.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, economics or law.
* Experience working as an analyst in a regulatory, corporate, consulting or academic setting.
* Foundational understanding of exchange-traded financial products.
